Big Day of Giving (BDOG) is Sacramento's annual community-wide day of philanthropy, where thousands of donors come together to support local nonprofits in a single 24-hour push. Every dollar given goes directly to the participating organizations — and the energy of the day can amplify our impact far beyond what we'd raise on our own.
As a nonprofit concert band, we rely on community support to keep live music accessible to everyone. Funds raised through Big Day of Giving help us cover the real costs of what we do — music, venue fees, equipment, and more — so we can continue performing free or low-cost concerts for our community.
This is one of our most important fundraising opportunities of the year, and it only works when our whole community shows up together.

What’s new or important about Big Day of Giving this year?
These past few years, we have seen the awe-inspiring power of nonprofits to serve local communities, create solutions, and nurture hope. Even in the most challenging times, they have been there for all of us — filling gaps in health and social services, climate action, education, and more.
This year, we’re encouraging folks to “give +1”!
Donate to the causes you regularly support, and add one new cause to give to, whether that be from the same mission category or something completely new to you.
Additionally, you can encourage your network to give, too!
